To promote the highest
standards of ethics in conducting business.
To encourage cooperation among glass dealers so that industry and the
public at all times receive
the best possible service.
To promote the general welfare of its members as it may pertain to
matters affecting management,
labor relations, legislation
and taxes.
To disseminate information to its members with respect to business
conditions in the glass industry, new and improved methods of production, technical matters, and generally, ways and
means whereby the industry as a whole and the individual members may improve
their business to better serve their customers.
To do any and all other livings which come within the scope of the
Association's characters
and by-laws which will aid any member
in the solution of his
particular problem.
To act as a conduit of information concerning the industry
to
legislative,
administrative, and all
official bodies and agencies in matters
related to the glass industry.
To foster friendship
among members, to arrange meetings for the discussion of business problems, and to organize congenial social
functions for members.
